Our statewide coalition wants to hear from caregivers about issues in the workplace, resources you need and solutions you may have like:
Education, training and credentialing
JOBS for caregivers
Respect and recognition in the workplace
Wages and benefits
Why you need to sign up for health insurance through the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange--including Federal subsidies for health insurance--and in spite of what you think you know!
All are welcome! Target audience includes family/unpaid caregivers and professional/wage-earning caregivers serving persons who are elderly and/or those with disabilities; caregiver advocates; agency staff.
Care recipients are especially urged to attend as are family members of caregivers.
Registration for this event is not required
There is no cost to attend
NMDCC is coming to your neighborhood! We'll be in Clovis, Silver City, Española and Carlsbad to talk about the Health Insurance Exchange and Federal subsidies available to caregivers and care recipients who qualify!
