This CLIFF-New Mexico webinar will:
- Share the many ways that advocacy and service delivery organizations have used CLIFF tools for better helping their constituents navigate self-sufficiency;
- Highlight why the Federal Reserve Bank system developed the CLIFF tools; and
- Share why New Mexico Caregivers Coalition advocates that state and local policymakers use CLIFF tools for serving low-wage workers, including caregivers.
State and local agencies serving workers, advocacy organizations and private sector HR staff are all encouraged to attend this webinar to learn more about CLIFF-New Mexico.
CLIFF: Career Ladder Identifier and Financial Forecaster was developed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. CLIFF is a practical tool for use in counseling individuals on career choices that looks at the impact of wage increases on benefits such as SNAP and childcare subsidies. It is tailored to individual workers. It makes use of state and local public assistance benefits and expense data. It can be used by state and local agencies, advocacy organizations, disability rights and disability planning agencies, immigrant rights organizations and financial counseling organizations and advocates.
