NMCC is offering “Health and Safety for Caregivers: Special Topics 2023.” The training is three hours and is intended for frontline Direct Support Staff, Home Health Aides, Personal Care Attendants, Nursing Attendants and Orderlies and Community Health Workers, including food and custodial staff.
This training is pre-paid for by a grant so there is no cost to the learner, thanks to tuition coverage extension into September.
Learn the signs and symptoms of respiratory syncytial virus infection (RSV) and m-pox (formerly monkeypox) so that you can be aware of what to look for. Also, learn how to recognize then de-escalate hostile behavior and forms of workplace violence.
