New Mexico Caregivers Tech! just finished up the first round of training sessions and is opening the application cycle for round two!

New Mexico Caregivers Tech! is a program of online training designed to build caregivers’ personal and professional technological work-related skills (financial security, internet safety, fraud protection) through four (4) short online training sessions.

Caregivers accepted into this program will be loaned a Chromebook and/or hotspot (if you do not have WiFi) for the training.

Caregivers who complete all online trainings will be able to keep that Chromebook and/or hotspot!

At this time, only caregivers who are members of New Mexico Caregivers Coalition are eligible to apply (see post titled “MEMBERSHIP WITH NEW MEXICO CAREGIVERS COALITION” to learn how to become a member). Frontline caregivers, Direct Support staff and CHW/CHRs are the intended beneficiaries of this program.

Second set of trainings will be held on August 25, August 27, September 1 and September 3. Application deadline is August 17.
