Family Caregiver Center of New Mexico
The Family Caregiver Center of New Mexico supports the well-being of family caregivers in New Mexico. We ensure that family caregivers have access to resources and a solid foundation of social and emotional support they need to navigate the challenges of caring for adults with serious diseases or conditions. Throughout our lives, most of us will be a caregiver or need a caregiver. The Family Caregiver Center cares for those who care for others.

NM Aging and Disability Resource Center
Connecting people with resources to maximize personal choice and independence. Helping people understand their options, guiding them in the right direction, advocating on their behalf, and improving their quality of life in some way are basic concepts of the New Mexico ADRC.

PeopleWorks-NM
Peopleworks’ mission is “To provide mental wellness services to NM persons in need regardless of economic status.” PW accomplishes this through insurance billable sessions and sometimes free sessions with a Master’s level intern. Peopleworks also offers online groups and classes, including a Family Caregiver Support Group. Our therapists and staff understand the immense tasks of caregiving and are here to meet emotional and practical needs.

Meaning & Hope Institute
The Meaning & Hope Institute is dedicated to helping dementia family caregivers find meaning in their caregiving work, and hope for a better and brighter personal future. Free online Support Groups, Facilitated Discussions, Events, Symposiums and Webinars are all available at https://meaningandhope.org.”

Stress-Busting Program for Family Caregivers
We know caregiving can be stressful. This program for family caregivers of a loved one with a chronic illness, will provide education and support, teach stress management techniques and help caregivers develop coping strategies.
