“For me, caregiving started at an early age helping to take care of my great-grandmother and she was the easiest with just the basics care. As time went on I took care of my grandfather who suffered a stroke which left him partially paralyzed on the left side of his body. At the end of his life, he was able to walk with assistance but life was never the same for him. The most complex case was caregiving for my mother who had multiple health issues and with her, I was exposed to many new resources and expanded my calling as a caregiver. I will forever hold them all in my heart and appreciate all the stories and love that they shared with me.”

What Services Do We Provide?
NMCC offers valuable tools to benefit caregivers and those who work with caregivers. We offer support to both professional and unpaid caregivers.
Resources Include:
- Training for Caregivers
- Public Assistance Benefits Test
- Training for Certification
- Low-Cost Background Checks
- Fair Labor Standards Action Knowledge Center
NMCC Donation
You can make a long-lasting difference in the lives of New Mexico’s caregivers & the seniors and those with disabilities they serve.
