The Family Caregiver Center of New Mexico offers “Powerful Tools for Caregivers” Fall 2023

NMCC is sharing the following information on “Powerful Tools for Caregivers” on behalf of the Family Caregiver Center of New Mexico.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a FREE six-week educational program designed to help family caregivers. You will learn how to take care of yourself while caring for a relative or friend, wherever they live: at home, in a facility, or across the country

  • Learn new self-care techniques
  • Manage emotions like guilt and anger
  • Improve confidence in coping with caregiving demands
  • Learn about community resources that may be of service to you
  • Participants receive a free copy of The Caregiver Helpbook.
  • Participants who complete the course receive a food/gas card.
  • We are offering this course in person and online.
