PHI announced this week the launch of a multi-state advocacy initiative centered on improving working conditions for caregivers. PHI’s “Essential Jobs, Essential Care” aims to advocate for state laws and regulations that strengthen the caregiver workforce. This national initiative is centered on Michigan, New Mexico and North Carolina and is a collaborative effort with three coalitions: IMPART Alliance (MI), the New Mexico Caregivers Coalition (NM) and the North Carolina Coalition on Aging (NC).
